Recently, the first batch of AG600 machines (1,101 units) was successfully assembled and rolled off the production line. Since the final assembly project began in July 2024, the General Aviation South China Final Assembly team of AVIC has overcome multiple difficulties. Through scientific production planning and scheduling, focusing on critical path materials, and strengthening on-site problem response mechanisms, they have been fully advancing the final assembly process and completed the basic final assembly by mid-December.
To ensure the AG600 model certificate (TC) certification task, 1,101 aircraft undertook multiple key airworthiness verification tasks and over 30 aircraft inspection (MOC7) items during the final assembly process. Among them, the full-aircraft lightning indirect effect test, as a core verification link before the AG600 model obtains the type certificate, is crucial for the safe operation of the aircraft under extreme weather conditions such as thunderstorms. During the Spring Festival, the test team remained at their posts, racing against time to work on the front line of the test. After two months, they finally successfully completed the relevant test tasks and moved on to the joint commissioning and testing of various systems before going offline.
In March 2025, the South China Assembly Center of General Aviation established the "1,101 Aircraft Final Assembly and Delivery Party Member Assault Team", optimizing the internal collaboration mechanism through the "Party Building + Breakthrough" model. Different positions such as assembly, process, quality, and planning worked in high efficiency and collaboration. After more than a month of arduous efforts, they successively completed a number of key tasks before the delivery test flight, including the power-on inspection of the avionics system, the level measurement of the entire aircraft, the overall fuel tank air tightness test, water tightness test, and rain test. They removed all kinds of "obstacles", ensuring that 1,101 aircraft were delivered for test flight on schedule.

At present, the second batch production aircraft of AG600 (1,102 units) has completed the installation of major components such as the engine and landing gear, as well as the conduction and insulation of the entire aircraft's wiring harness. It is now conducting tests on the avionics system. The third batch production aircraft (1,103 units) has also completed the connection of major components such as the wings and vertical tail, and has entered the system installation stage.
