16800 Tons Forging Press Production Line, Start Commissioning!

In order to implement the annual work objectives of FAW casting and forging "transformation breakthrough and leap development" and accelerate the implementation of the construction plan of Suzhi Chemical plant, recently, the 16800 tons forging press production line of FAW Casting and Forging Business unit Qingdao plant has started the single equipment debugging work, and is ready for the full operation at an early date. In order to ensure the progress of the project, the Party Committee of the Forging Division actively planned and arranged the construction of Suzhi Chemical plant, organized and dispatched 10 equipment and technical experts to stay in Qingdao, and actively coordinated and organized the rapid and stable promotion of the project.

In January 2025, the Qingdao factory conducted a detailed investigation of the installation of 16,800 tons of automatic forging press production line equipment, completed a comprehensive inspection of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, dealt with more than 10 problems such as water, gas, and equipment lubrication, and had the basic 

conditions for single machine debugging.

Since February, the project team of Qingdao factory has implemented the early evening promotion system, integrated the work progress of machinery, electrical and safety fire protection, carried out single debugging of the equipment such as press bending machine, main engine, trimming machine, calibration machine and robot, and completed more than 30 rectification measures such as hydraulic pipeline layout and robot running track rectification.

In the next step, the project team will actively communicate with the Qingdao Municipal government, and strive to achieve external power supply in mid-March, immediately open the online commissioning of the equipment, and go all out to realize the equipment production in advance.
