Recently, Lanzhou Heavy Industry's Super Alloy Company, relying on its previous accumulation of simulation data on large-tonnage forgings and process verification, successfully achieved the billet forging of 17 tons of titanium alloy, setting a new record for the heaviest single titanium alloy forging in China.

The deformation difference between the core and surface layers of large-sized billets in traditional forging processes is generally greater than 15%. However, Lanzhou Heavy Industry's Super Alloy Company, by optimizing the forging ratio and forging rate process parameters and relying on the powerful pressure of the 125MN fast forging press, has achieved a deformation difference of less than 5% between the core and surface layers of a 17-ton titanium alloy billet. We have accumulated manufacturing experience for the production of titanium alloy products of 20 tons and above for Lanzhou Heavy Industry Super Alloy Company.

Lanzhou Heavy Industry's Super Alloy Company stated that it will continue to focus on fields such as shipbuilding, nuclear power, and Marine engineering, and strive to develop high-performance forgings of large titanium alloys and high-temperature alloys, making greater contributions to helping China's forging industry break through the "bottleneck" of high-end equipment components and promoting the localization of major equipment.
