Upon the issuance of the production instructions, the employees of the hot rolling group A in the rolling workshop of the sheet metal factory, including Sun Zhaoyu, Shao Xinze, Xu Guoxuan, Zhang Huanchai, etc., 9 in total, quickly entered the working state. Through precise operations, a GH4169 billet was sent to the four-roll reversible hot rolling unit. After one minute of rolling, the hot-rolled finished product was successfully rolled.

Niu Qun, the deputy director of the Technical Quality Department of the Plate Rolling Factory, immediately measured the data of the first piece of hot-rolled plate.

"Report to the Chairman: The measurement of the hot test vehicle product data has been completed. The rolled billet material is of steel grade GH4169, with dimensions of 110mm * 300mm * 1250mm, the target thickness is 15mm, and the deformation amount in one pass rolling is 86.4%. The actual dimensions are 14.88mm and 15.26mm; the thickness tolerance is 0.38mm. Compared with the standard of the national standard which has a tolerance of ±0.55mm, the rolling accuracy has increased by 65%, and the surface quality and plate shape of the sheet material have all reached the highest precision of the national standard."

Zhao Baojie excitedly announced that the thermal load test had been successfully completed. The audience burst into enthusiastic applause.


Sun Liguo congratulated the high-alloy sheet production line on the successful hot load test. On behalf of the company, he expressed gratitude to all the staff of the sheet factory, as well as to the relevant units and the M&A Sida project team who have worked hard for the construction of the new line. He pointed out that during the 700 days from the project's initiation to the hot test, all the construction workers focused on the goals of "high standards, high efficiency, and high quality", overcame difficulties in project construction and equipment debugging, and achieved the successful hot load test. This is a key move of the company's "quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, intelligent manufacturing" strategy, and will undoubtedly become the stabilizing stone and decisive key for the company to expand the high-end sheet market.

As a key project of the technological transformation plan for Fushun Special Steel during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the high-alloy sheet production line consists of six production lines: hot rolling, cold rolling, heat treatment, acid washing, thin plate finishing, and thick plate finishing. It is currently the most advanced and has the most complete varieties of single-sheet special steel rolling production lines in China. The high-alloy sheet production line covers an area of 23,000 square meters and can produce approximately 8,000 tons of high-quality special steel sheets annually. It can produce a full range of high-value-added special steel products such as high-temperature alloys, corrosion-resistant alloys, titanium alloys, and ultra-high strength steel. The sheet products are widely used in fields such as aviation, aerospace, ships, automobiles, and mechanical manufacturing, and can meet the demands of key national sectors for high-quality and high-performance special steel sheets.
